Apex Acoustics was founded in 2006 by Jack Harvie-Clark, and has grown consistently since inception. We have grown to become the largest independent acoustic consultancy based in the North East. Using the latest technology for measurement, testing, modelling and design, we always ensure that we provide the highest levels of service. Our combination of experience and expertise allows us to offer the most practical solutions within a fixed budget on demanding timescales. In November 2008, Apex became the first and only company nationwide to achieve UKAS accredditation for sound testing schools to Building Bulletin 93. Apex was the first independent company north of Leeds to achieve UKAS accreditation for sound insulation testing to meet Building Regulations. This accreditation was awarded in January 2007, and has been held consistently since. We continue to develop more efficient methods for testing, to reduce our time on your site, reduce costs, and provide a greater quantity of testing on each site visit. Also in 2007, Apex became a member of the British Council for School Environments, as part of a commitment to developing standards and practices for acoustic design in educational environments. We became a member of the Association of Noise Consultants in 2008, the only trade body representing our profession, demonstrating the highest standards of service to our clients. Apex also holds Constructionline and CHAS certification, which demonstrate a commitment to high quality of service and site health and safety. All members of Apex hold current CSCS cards. |
